Brother Steve,

Hope you are doing better today.

I read somewhere that lack of exposure to sun light may be a contributing factor to depression as well.

Perhaps when you have a little more strength you might want to try some outdoor activities when the sun is up.

Will be praying for your recovery.

Take care and God bless.

Brother Charles, thank you for kind words of encouragement, they are deeply appreciated. Its not so much depression any more Brother, I feel it was never a "clinical" depression anyway, more to do with the low testosterone levels but treated as clinical depression, when I got myself right with the Lord all that began to subside and become manageable and I dont take anything now for depression medication wise and I have the Lord to thank for that. I just feel very weary as of late with everything, especially the way Christians treat other "Christians", granted some folks have a zeal for God's word but no ministry of reconciliation, one is pointless without the other.
I hope and pray you and yours are kept safe and well in the tender mercies of the Lord Jesus Christ.

May the Lord Jesus Christ who healed the masses in Jerusalem 2000 + years ago and who has been doing it every day since, bring healing and relief to you and everyone else who is suffering from this disease.

This disease is very close to me as my wife suffers from it and on more than one occasion I have had to rescue her from herself, once from a 17 story balcony and many times from razor blades, depression effects everyone.

Let us always remember when we are weak then we are strong, why? because then we draw near to the Lord with all our hearts, I have learned from God some of the most fascinating things from His word when I was sick, when I was well I sometimes would get to busy doing pointless things, sometimes God uses sickness to chasten us so that we draw near, that was my experience anyway.

2Co:12:10: Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Jude:1:24: Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Jude:1:25: To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Hello Brother Steve,

I am glad to learn that you are in better state now then the past. I remember your encouragement when I was down with high blood pressure and the horrifying side effects I experienced last year.

Are you still on Gaba? I find a little uneasy after using a while. Perhaps you might want to consider taking fish oil supplements like omega 3. You may like to do some research on L-arginine as well which I find helpful.

Got to go for now. Please take good care. God bless.

Hi Brother Charles, yes thanks I am much better than I was, still very lethargic and run down but hopefully I will get that sorted soon. I still take GABA before bed and my BP is actually almost normal now, I also take my Omega 3 oils and l-arginine (as well as some other amino acids) as I am weight training and they do help. The weight lifting also is a big plus for me as It helps alleviate some of the problems I have been having.
You may want to research Hawthorn Berry for blood pressure and celery seed extract, both hugely beneficial in lowering blood pressure.

God Bless and keep you and yours dear Brother.

Brother Steve,

I did try Hawthorn berry but not celery seed extract. I do drink celery juice mixed with watermelon quite often. I tried grape seed extract as well. They are all good. For the moment, my BP is under control with a small dose of beta-blocker and ace inhibitor. Apart from taking fish oil supplement, I am drinking fibrewise from melaleuca which reduced my cholesterol over 30% in 3 months. So I am pretty alright for the moment. Last year was depressing.

Have you considered the water you are drinking? Maybe this article here concerning the hardness and solubility of water might be a useful reference if your condition did not improve further.

Anyway, there is only so much we can do and the rest is up to the Lord to keep us in good health and keep the body and soul together for a season to do His will.

Isaiah 40:29: He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30: Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

May the Lord strengthen you as you wait upon Him.

Charles

Praying for ya, Brother!  There's a good little health juice I like called SeaAloe (formerly Sea Silver) that has some metabolism-balancing nutrients in it and can off-set some of the detrimental effects of our hectic lifestyle.  I've used it for several years now - mainly to counteract the caffeine I love so well! - and am well pleased with the results.  Check them out at www.naturesliquids.com.
