Even we Christians are polluted by the world and are guilty of these transgressions.
Getting back to the women issue, there are glaring things that are evident of women's rise to the stagefront.
Women are idolized and exalted for beauty and imagery.
Hollywood glamorizes them as superior to men in intelligence and brute force
God specifically put the man in charge because of woman's tendency to usurp authority and to be seductive and deceived
Idolatry is forbidden yet all men idolize women in the flesh
goddess of fertility and queen of heaven are some satanic ancient religious foundations for these deceptions and abominations
to keep men impoverished and subjected women are utilized to work and obtain more influence and political power
they have a judicial civil discriminatory preferred advantage over men that gives them totalitarian indisputable advantage over civil cases
They have a glass ceiling that no man can shatter at his own peril while they are allowed to assault and purger unstoppable at will
they can make a man a perpetrator and drive him from the home simply on their word alone and procure total power over his children and income
just a few examples..no offence intended
Greetings, escapedthenight. I agree with your characterization of the society we live in today, I take no offense because it's true. I've seen and heard women brag that they can lie in family court and they know that they will get custody of the children and take their husband for all he's worth. I have little doubt that I could make up lies about my husband and be awarded a divorce settlement with a nice chunk of his future income as alimony. Fortunately, I don't know what I would do without him, I have no such desire because I love him, and I fear the Lord. There is very little equity or justice in this system, and men are afforded very few rights. However, I would like to comment on one of your statements which I don't necessarily agree with :
God specifically put the man in charge because of woman's tendency to usurp authority and to be seductive and deceived
In my opinion... just my opinion, this is an attempt to take traits that are a result of the fall and make them into an innate tendency inherent in the thing itself, similar to believing, as evolutionists do, that animals have an innate nature to eat each other. But we know that tendency is a result of the fall, it's not innate. Just as the curse of the fall on the women was that her desire would be to her husband and that he would rule over her, both of these seemingly innate tendencies, or natures, are not innate at all, they are the result of the fall.
God made woman for man therefore man desires women but in mankind's fallen state he wants what has not been given to him, and she wants what has not been given to her. The object of our lust is not necessarily the guilty party but rather each one of us is guilty when we are tempted, drawn away of our own lust, and enticed. Jas 1:14 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: Jas 1:15 In this way, fallen women can become whores, and fallen men can become whoremongers, and fallen women can attempt to usurp authority over their husbands, and fallen men can relinquish that authority.
I agree that our society is messed up, but how did it get that way? I believe the Bible teaches that a society that countenances whoredom is foremost the fault of men for they failed to remain faithful to the Lord and went whoring after other gods, and their families followed right along after. Therefore, it's daughters shall commit whoredom, and spouses shall commit adultery. Ho 4:13 It's a judgment of God upon a nation that turns from him to other gods, and it spreads like leaven in a lump of dough. Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness. Lev 19:29
If Eve was indeed created "crooked" (as the Muslims teach), destined to be deceived, and to be a "test" for the man, then where is free will? And how could God see that everything he had created was very good if Eve had these negative tendencies?
