By their fruits?

Do you have a prayer request? Please post it here. Eph 6:18, Col 1:3

By their fruits?

Postby PeanutGallery » Sun Apr 27, 2014 5:45 pm

How does one tell the difference between a false convert and a deceived child of God?

Scenario:
a) claims to be saved,
b) states shacking up is not a sin because they are not under the law (antinomianism),
c) refuses correction.

Tried to discuss law, sin, repentance; it's like hitting a brick wall.
Need prayer on approach; as a false convert or deceived child of God.

Saved or unsaved hard to say.  I would approach each of them the same way with the word of God.  Fornication and sexual immorality are sin plain and simple.

Try being nice and ask them for their testimony.  From that you might be able to get some idea if they are saved or not.
Psalm 49:3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart [shall be] of understanding.

That would be the prayer request: an open door to ask about the testimony.

Thanks
